On Thursday, January 8 and January 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation (MVCSC) is hosting an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in becoming a bus driver and joining the MV family.

The event will be held at the MVCSC Transportation Center, located at 8435 N. 200 W., Fortville, IN 46040. Attendees will have the chance to drive a bus, tour the facility, learn more about the transportation department, and receive assistance with the application process.

Bus drivers at MVCSC enjoy a variety of benefits, including competitive wages, a safe and healthy work environment, supplemental insurance options, and paid driver training. Open positions include substitute bus driver and bus aide, with starting wages of $27.59 and $17.74 per hour, respectively.
