Become a High Ability Teacher!

Did you Know as part of our High Ability professional development plan we use HA grant funds to pay teacher tuition, books, and fees to become HA certified?

MVCSC is offering any teacher interested in becoming High Ability certified to participate in IU Southeast courses (4). All tuition and textbook costs will be covered by the High Ability grant.  Teachers who participate agree they will go through the IDOE licensing department to add the HA certification to their teaching license.

Dates: Two-semester commitment (two classes per semester-summer and fall)  Location: Synchronous and Asynchronous
Start Date: TBD

If you are interested in becoming High Ability certified (4 courses) reach out to Lauren Adams (lauren.adams@mvcsc.k12.in.us) or Dr. Scott Shipley(scott.shipley@mvcsc.k12.in.us).  We currently have a wait list of teachers interested in getting HA certified.  Please let us know if you are interested so we can add you to our list!  As long as IUSE continues to offer the program we will continue to use HA grant money to get teachers certified.
