Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation (MVCSC) is offering any resident living in our district who is at least 65 years old an opportunity to receive a "Mt. Vernon 65+ Club" event pass. This 65+ Club card will provide free admission to most Mt. Vernon Middle School and Mt. Vernon High School events. There are a few exclusions, see below for details. Check often as this list may be updated frequently.
For the 2020-2021 School Year:
MVCSC follows the guidance from the Hancock County Health Department in how we manage the COVID-19 pandemic at our schools. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing capacity limitations at extracurricular events due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no passes are being accepted at events for the 2020-21 school year. We have limited event attendance to the parents of student participants. The following passes will not be accepted at any events this school year: staff passes, all-sports passes, Hoosier Heritage Conference passes, as well as 65+ Club Event Passes. We are currently still issuing 65+ Club Event Passes to be used in subsequent school years.
