Vernon High School in 1997, and has remained a Marauder since.
Roach states, “I am driven by the desire to see our students experience success in the classroom, on academic teams, in the fine arts, and in athletics, and many other areas. I want to give our students as many opportunities as possible to succeed. I want our students to be challenged and prepared for success after high school.”
He is planning to evaluate all aspects of the current operations at Mt. Vernon High School and assess what areas of growth exist. He is looking to explore, research and implement new programs for quality continuous improvement. Roach states, “Mt. Vernon High School has been a four-star school for many years and designated an “A” school by the Indiana Department of Education. I am committed to lead and grow the academic and extracurricular excellence at Mt. Vernon High School, providing students a technology rich 21st century learning environment.”
Roach stays busy with his family, and maintains memberships in several professional organizations. His wife, Cyndi Roach, is a media assistant at Fortville Elementary School. He has two children, Zach who is a junior and stays busy with soccer and baseball, and Ellie who is a freshman and also involved with soccer.
