MVCSC Staff Information/Schedule - Coronavirus Developments

Staff Pay
All staff (certified and non-certified) will be paid for their normal hours they are scheduled to work through the end of the school year. 

  • All certified and non-certified staff will not be allowed in the buildings and key cards are turned off. If you need access please contact Derek Shelton or Jack Parker. 

  • Your supervisor will be in touch with any actions needed from you in regards to logging absences in Skyward.


eLearning Plan Through the School Year

  • We will have eLearning on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3/31 - 4/16, and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4/21 - 5/21.  ELearning office hours for teachers on these days are 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m.

  • Technology support will be available for parents/students 3/30 - 5/21.

  • Zoom resource for teachers: Best Practices for Security your Virtual Classroom 

  • School will be canceled on days we do not offer eLearning.

  • Kindergarten Registration events, all extracurricular activities including athletics, field trips, and the Town Hall Meetings (for Delayed Start/Early Release discussions) will all be canceled through the end of the school year. Town Hall Meetings have been rescheduled for virtual meetings.

  • Food Service - MVCSC will provide food service on Mondays through 5/18. Please see the main coronavirus webpage for details.

  • Special Education Services - Instructional staff who provide services to students with disabilities will make every effort to deliver the service minutes indicated in each student’s IEP utilizing the platforms available. When services return to the classroom setting, IEP teams can meet to determine if additional services are needed.

  • Read the FAQ's for updates on athletic faciities, wifi in our building parking lots, and more. 



Activate Employee Health ClinicPlease note the Activate Employee Health Clinic will continue to stay open their normal hours, however non-essential appointments are being rescheduled. Activate is limiting the traffic in the clinic to "must-see" patients only. Please call the clinic for all appointments and they will determine if a phone visit is appropriate or if you will need to be seen in person.  All visitors, regardless of symptoms (even if you just twisted your ankle!), will be masked and asked to use hand sanitizer upon entering the clinic. Masks will need to be worn the entire visit by both the patients and Activate staff.  Medication refills will be delivered to your car with a mask and gloves in an effort to minimize clinic traffic.  See their website page for details.
