Despite the challenging end to the school year, Mt. Vernon High School hosted a safe and healthy graduation ceremony. There were approximately 274 students who crossed the stage to receive their high school diploma. There was mutual excitement between the MVHS graduates as they began to move forward into their promising futures, prepared by one of the best academic preparations in the state.
The commencement ceremony took place at the Mt. Vernon High School Hancock Health Stadium with students being socially distant on the football field and spectators wearing face coverings where social distancing was not possible. Students were also asked to wear masks when they were not on the football field. (View photos HERE)
