Mt. Vernon High School (MVHS) seniors set out to give back to Mt. Vernon on senior work day. Seniors who participated in the event worked from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., and went to several different locations to perform various service duties. Their day of service was followed by a cookout with the administration team at the track. After lunch, they picked up their cap & gown in preparation for graduation.
Some of the duties that the seniors performed include mulching the MVHS campus, repainting curbs on MVCSC campuses, and repairing Mt. Vernon Middle School’s fence. Some students helped clean and move classroom supplies to prepare for next school year. Other seniors also worked to clean up MVCSC by picking up trash throughout the grounds.
Mt. Vernon High School Class of 2019 is leaving a footprint and making a difference in the community. Congratulations to all MVHS Seniors!
