The title of a School Board Scholar is awarded to students who earn an “A” or an “A+” in every class for the duration of the school year. The students must also be enrolled full time for at least 160 days and have grades for all four quarters of the school year.
A very select group of students achieve this award, thus the 2017-2018 School Board Scholars were invited to a formal recognition ceremony on June 11, 2018. Honored recipients were given a certificate and a trophy, in addition to their names being added permanently to the School Board records. To see a full list of the School Board Scholars, click here.
Students who received Wall of Fame recognition were honored during the board meeting that followed the School Board Scholars ceremony. These awards include being a School Board Scholar at least five times, as well as awards named from each school. To see the list of Wall of Fame recipients, click here.
The Board of School Trustees congratulates the School Board Scholars and the Wall of Fame recipients on their outstanding academic work during the 2017-2018 school year.
