It’s a celebration! The Mt. Vernon Education Foundation proudly introduces, in celebration of our 10th anniversary, the Kaleidoscope Gala.
A butterfly reminds us of the necessary self-transformation and clarity that life bestows upon us. The collective name for a group of butterflies is a kaleidoscope. The Mt. Vernon Education Foundation is an assembly of families, educators, businesses and community members all on a journey working together to provide the highest educational attainment for all students of the Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation. Much like the metamorphosis of a butterfly, education transforms us, and our kaleidoscope is built on inspiration, hope, creativity, innovation and excellence.
The MVEF wants to celebrate our families’ butterfly stories and the aspirations, hopes, dreams, visions and impact that your generosity has made on our students, teachers and school district. As a member of our kaleidoscope, your support helps to transform students’ education, by supporting teachers and administrators who know they have a partner in this journey.
Over the past ten years, the Foundation has dispersed over $300,000 in grant awards to our students and faculty. It would not have been possible without the generosity and support of donors such as YOU! We thank you! We continue to share the same goal, as with all Mt. Vernon educators, of helping each child reach his or her greatest potential! As a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, all donations made to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
