Mt. Vernon Opens Onsite Healthcare Clinic for Staff

Health Care Ribbon-Cutting

Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation (MVCSC) officially opened the new onsite health clinic for staff on Wednesday, November 30.  Kellie Freeman (MVCSC School Board of Trustees), Andrea Mayfield (Activate Nurse Practitioner), Nancy Strickland (Fortville-McCordsville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director), Shane Robbins (MVCSC Superintendent), Jason Vore (Activate Vice President of Practice Operations), and Brian Tomamichel (MVCSC Chief Financial Officer) officially cut the ribbon to open the staff health clinic.

Additional representatives from MVCSC, Activate, MJ Insurance and the Greenfield Daily Reporter were there to celebrate the opening of the first class clinic.  After the ribbon cutting, Dr. Robbins thanked all companies for their efforts in developing a successful partnership to benefit the school staff.  He looks forward to continue forging relationships with local businesses in Fortville and McCordsville.

This focus on employee health is one factor fueling growth in onsite employee health clinics across the country.  The Mt.
