Back-to-School Info

Thursday, July 30th is the first day of school for Mt. Vernon students. The details are listed below on where to find information you'll need.  The "Parents" drop-down on all websites is designed to provide the majority of needed information.

K-8 Back-to-School Night Info - Go to your student's school website, and look under the "Parent" link for K-8 "Back-to-School" night info

Bus Information - Linked here and also under all site's "Parent" drop-downs, as well as under "Departments" tab as "Transportation"

Enrollment Information - See the revised transfer/open enrollment policy, and enrollment forms here

Immunization Information - Listed on the website as "Health Services" under "Departments" tab linked here

Menus/Pay MySchoolBucks/Free & Reduced Lunch App - "Food Services" is listed under "Departments" tab and linked here

Book Rental - For K-5, book rental will be a flat $135. For 6-12, book rental will be $135 plus specific class fees the student is enrolled in.  Be on the lookout for your invoice from the schools on when/how to pay your book rental fee.  

iPad/Chromebook Insurance - The insurance option for the iPad will be $33.25/year with a $50 deductible.  The Chromebook insurance option will be $16.80/year with a $50 deductible.  There will be an opportunity to purchase/deny insurance when the "Internet Acceptable Use Policy" is signed.  Don't forget to review the "1:1 Plan" page for additional up-to-date information.
