The Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation is requesting lawn care proposals for management of all school grounds. Interested parties must attend a mandatory site walk-through at 10 a.m. Monday, July 6th beginning at the Administration Building. All bids are due by 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15th to the administration building.
The contract period will be from August 1, 2015 to December 31, 2016, with an option to extend the contract. The project has four zones that vendors can bid on. Any questions should be submitted prior to Friday, July 10th; for contact person see Request For Proposal (RFP) listed below.
Criteria that the bids will be evaluated on may include but is not limited to: experience and technical competence, capacity, capability, past performance, proximity, familiarity of area, and cost. All proposals must include a general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 and automobile liability insurance of at least $500,000. The winning bid(s) will be notified by writing.
