WTHR's Bruce Kopp visited several classrooms at MVHS filiming a story on MVCSC's school nurse, Michelle Shaw, saving a life on spring break and teaching MVHS students CPR.
Mt. Peacock's health class demonstrated CPR on the dummies as Shaw instructed. Shaw shared with the students her experience of saving someone's life by using her CPR knowledge. Bruce Kopp, Eyewitness News "Sunrise" Anchor & Reporter for WTHR, interviewed Shaw on her life-saving experience and teaching CPR to MVHS students.
Bruce Kopp and team next went to Katie Weaver-Miller's Geography class to film a map of Cozumel in a school setting. Kopp was a great sport as he was pulled into a group selfie with the class (top photo).
Next the NBC station crew went to the gym to film an opening segment with MVHS in the background. Once again he was a great sport with another round of class selfies in Mr. Deardorff's PE class.
MVCSC appreciates the support of
Channel 13's coverage of Shaw's life-saving experience and how it can impact students' lives as she teaches CPR. For
