Announcements for January 23-25

  • Please extend your congratulations to Junior Ian Carson for being selected by Indiana University to attend its summer Honors Program in Foreign Languages.  Ian will spend 7 weeks this summer in Saumur, France.  This region is famous for the many Renaissance-era chateaux that dot its countryside.  Ian will live with a French family, take classes, and tour the area while there.  

  • There will be a homecoming dance tonight after the game until 11 in the Cafeteria! Admission is 5 dollars and there will be small concessions sold. There will also be a Minute-to-win it tournament for a 1 dollar entry fee. Only MVHS 9-12 grade students are permitted to attend dance. Hope to see you there.

  • Boys & Girls Swimming & Diving Results from January 22 - The boys defeated Pendleton Heights 96-77. The girls lost their first dual meet of the season by a score of 70-113.          

  • Do you enjoy reading? If so, come to book club in the Media Center during SRT on Fridays! You don't need a pass to come to book club -- simply sign out of SRT and sign the book club sign-in sheet when you arrive. Mrs. Zelencik will email an attendance list to the teachers. All students welcome! Join us for reading, sharing, discussing, and fun!
  • Do you want a free concert?  Do you have jeans that take up too much room in your closet? National Honor Society is teaming with Aeropostale to collect new and lightly used jeans to send to local shelters and orphanages.  Bring in your jeans to the box in the office or to Mr. Goff by February 15th.  The school with the most jeans will win a private concert, $5000 dollars, and free T-shirts!!
