Hi, I am Liz Jenkins, welcome to my website! Let me begin by telling you a little about myself. I have a BFA from Cornell University and my Masters in Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. I spent seven years teaching art in New York before moving to Indiana. After moving to Indiana I taught art classes at the YMCA. I also spent time creating and selling my own art work. I specialize in mixed media collages.
After my youngest daughter started kindergarten I returned to teaching full time. This is my third year teaching art at Mount Comfort Elementary School. I am so excited to be here full time this year!
My husband Jason and I have three daughters. Zoe is 15 and a sophomore at MVHS, Hope is 11 and in Sixth grade at MVMS and Maggie is a second grader at MCE.
We also have two dogs named Lucky and Molly and two guinea pigs named Peyton and Granger.
I truly belive that I have the best job in the world and am so fortunate to spend my time creating art with your wonderful children!
