Hi!  My name is Mrs. Day.  I am a resource teacher at Mount Vernon Middle School.  I teach a pull-out math class and a pull-out language class as well as a collaborative class in 8th grade science.  I have 11 years of teaching experience.  My first five years of teaching I taught elementary school music in the Indianapolis Public School System.  The next five years I taught middle school music and resource classes at Triton Middle School.  I have been teaching at Mount Vernon for one year.  As you can tell from above I have a music teaching license and a resource teaching license.

I am married to Mr. Stephen Day who is the Mt. Vernon Middle and Intermediate Schools band director.  We have been married for 12 years.  Our family consists of five furry kids.  K.C. and Calvin are both cats.  Annie, Belle and Allie are dogs.  We have 2 nephews.  Isaac is seven and Ethan is 5.  I love playing and spending time with my family.
