Scheduling Information

Timeline

February
15 - Scheduling Video shown to all MVHS students during Block 1, scheduling forms distributed in Block 1
16 - Counselors in MVHS Cafe during both lunches for scheduling questions
17 & 18 - Counselors visit Middle School to meet with 8th grade teams and distribute scheduling forms
21-25 - Counselors hold individual conferences with 8th grade parents/students (if desired)
28 - All scheduling forms must be submitted (Grade 8: turn in to MVMS Guidance Office, Grades 9-11: turn in to Block 1 teacher)
March
11 & 14 - Counselors return to MVMS to meet with students who have not submitted a form
April
Early April - List of course requests will be distributed to students at school
29 - Last day to make any changes to course requests (must submit a signed "Change of Course Request" form)
May
Tentative Schedules will be distributed to students during school
 
SUMMER SCHOOL
June 1-July 14  (Monday-Thursday only, no Friday classes and no class on July 4th)
Classes take place at Mt. Vernon HS, transportation will not be provided by the school corporation
Period 1 - 7:45-10:45
Period 2 - 10:45-1:45
Course offerings: PE I, PE II, Health, Digital Comm Tools, Computer Applications, English 9 (1 credit), English 10 (1 credit), English 11 (1 credit), English 12 (1 credit), Algebra I (1 credit), Pre-Algebra (1 credit), Government, Economics

SCHEDULING INFORMATION

**Students, if you have misplaced your scheduling form, new copies may be obtained from the Middle School or High School Guidance Offices.
