Each holiday season, the Mt. Vernon Education Foundation (MVEF) gives families an opportunity to thank their teachers, coaches and all school employees with a personalized certificate and a tax-deductible gift to the MVEF. But hurry! The deadline is Sunday, December 17th! The Thank-an-Educator Program is an important part of Mt. Vernon Education Foundation (MVEF) and the work that we all do as a community. The MVEF has supported all Mt. Vernon staff and students by awarding over $330,000 in staff-requested grants since 2008.
Certificates are $10 per individual nomination or $50 per school. With the school donation, all the staff at the school will be notified with your generous donation. It is a wonderful way to say “thank you” to all the staff at your child’s school! All donations are tax deductible. Download the application HERE. When you thank a teacher, you show them how much they are making a difference in their school and in students’ lives. It is a gift of gratitude to a staff member who is making a significant impact in the school and our community.
