Honor a Special Hero in Your Life

Field of Honor Flyer

At the Mt. Comfort Airport, it won’t be long before a sea of American flags are honoring our service personnel.  Our partners at the Exchange Clubs of Hancock County and Lawrence will be posting 800-1,000 American flags to honor living or fallen Fire Personnel, Police Officers, Military and Veterans as a way to say, “thank you for your service!”  (See flyer HERE)

The Exchange Club is offering an opportunity for the community to honor Little Girl Runninga family member, friend, or acquaintance by sponsoring a flag for $30.00.  The flag will be posted proudly, honoring that special hero in a family’s life, at the Indianapolis Regional Airport.  The flags will be posted just before Flag Day, and be displayed from June 13-17.  To order a Flag of Honor online, go to www.healingfield.org/greenfield18/.  Mt. Vernon students will likely be helping the Exchange Club post some of these flags.

It’s time to say thank you to your loved ones that have served for your country! It would also make a great Mother’s day or Father’s day present.  For further information, contact Jeff Young at jly350@yahoo.com.
